Thief in the Myst Cover Reveal!

With a Master's Program and my wife pregnant with #6, life has been crazy. The good news is that I'm still on track for my book release. Thief in the Myst is slated for release on September 27th, which is just a week and a half away! And today I'm excited to reveal the cover for this instalment in the The Master Thief trilogy. Let me know what you think in the comments below!

Thief in the Myst Release Date

Wow, so much going on. For those that don't know, my wife is pregnant with #6, and I've stepped in to help at home while she's been sick. Fortunately I haven't fallen behind on my Master's Program or my writing. Book #2 in The Master Thief series is slated for release at the end of September. The title is going to be Thief in the Myst. I'll keep you posted, and sorry about the lack of updates!

Next Book Announcement and Audio Book Update

I know it is earlier in the year than I usually post about my new books, but I'm excited to announce that this year I will be releasing a trilogy based on the legendary thief, Jack Myst. The first title will be Thief in the Myst, and is slated for release early JULY. That's a month earlier than past years. I've managed to keep to my accelerated writing schedule and I can't wait to publish it early.

Regarding the audio releases on Audible, it appears that Impact of the Fallen is currently in the publication queue on Audible, but they are saying it will be published on June 7th. I sincerely apologize for the delay. I'll keep you posted, and post a link here once it's live. Thanks for listening and being so patient!

Audio Book Release for Impact of the Fallen

So, I have good news and bad news. The bad news is that White Mage #4 release on Audible got pushed back a bit, and is now scheduled for release May 17th. The good news is that White Mage #5 is scheduled for release on May 31, so you won't have to wait long to listen to the end!

On an unrelated note, the tale of Jack Myst is coming along nicely. In the last few years I've released my first book of they year in August, but this year I want to release it in July. Still working out the details, but it's looking promising. Stay tuned for the announcement regarding the title!

Me at the Smarter Artist Summit Memorizing 150 Names

So I've debated whether or not to share this video. Partly because it seems boastful, and partly because there is some profanity in the background. I've decided to post it because it was one of the most incredible things I've ever experienced and it would be shame not to share it with my friends. So here it is. This is me at a conference in Austin Texas, where I met 150 people and memorized their names in less than two days. The hosts asked for a demonstration, and Jackie Dana took a video. (The F-word is close to the 9 minute mark if you want to avoid it.) #smarterartist summit.

Audio Book Update and other news!

I've received countless e-mails and questions asking when Impact of the Fallen and The Forge of Light will go live on Audible. I'm incredibly excited to give a tentative launch for both that I just received from my producer. It looks like Impact of the Fallen should be available around April 26, and Forge of Light is slated for release on May 17th. I'll keep you posted as we get closer, but it looks like the end of The White Mage Saga will finally be available on Audible soon!

Another exciting thing is my progress on Jack Myst's story. I've just completed draft 4 of my writing process for book 1, and I started book 2 today. It is looking like I'll be able to release the first book in the Jack Myst trilogy whole month early in July! It's shaping up to be a great year!

The Heart of War is now live! The Warsworn Trilogy is done!

I'm so excited to announce the release of my newest book, The Heart of War. This title completes the trilogy for King Tryton, and ends my third series within the World of Lumineia. I can't wait to hear your thoughts. Feel free to post on Facebook or here on my blog what you think. (But no spoilers!) Here's the book description:

King Tryton has rebuilt a nation, forged peace from war, and returned his people to the honor they had lost. Now guarding mages, guildmasters, and kings, the rock trolls inspire respect rather than fear. In spite of his feats it is his family that brings him pride. He has trained his children in every facet of combat, preparing them for a world of conflict.

It will not be enough.

In the distant past another rock troll reigned supreme—until he disappeared. His will was bound to another, his flesh empowered with forgotten magic, and his body covered with impenetrable armor. Now he leads an army from another realm and serves the Lord of Chaos himself. Bound for eons, his rage has only grown in exile. When he gains his freedom the invasion begins.

And the world ends.

We have a release date for The Heart of War!

I'm excited to announce the official release date for The Heart of War, the final entry in The Warsworn Trilogy. Now that I have everything planned I can announce that it will be released on December 15th! With it being the end of the year I wanted to be certain on my timing, so the announcement is coming a little later than normal. It's already 6 days away! I'll be sending the manuscript to beta readers tomorrow and looking forward to their final feedback. I can't wait!

Cover Reveal for THE HEART OF WAR!!

I've had my head in the metaphorical sand for the last few weeks working hard on the new book. today I'm excited to reveal the cover for The Heart of War. This book will be the conclusion to the Warsworn Trilogy, and end the story of Tryton. I am hoping to release it in the next two weeks and I will announce a release date soon. For now, I hope you enjoy the cover! Any guesses on what it is?

The Age of War is officially live!

I'm so excited to announce the release of my new book, The Age of War. As the sequel to The Flesh of War, this book continues the story of Tryton, the legendary rock troll. I can't wait to hear what you all think! Here's the book description:

Relentless in their pursuit of perfection, the rock trolls have waged war for millennia. Legendary warriors, vast armies, and even dragons have fallen before their might. But now their enemy comes from within. Rising to the throne by right, King Sybrik seeks conflict even as his people dwindle and perish. His thirst for blood will see no end.

Unless Tryton can stop him.

Endowed with strength, gifted in battle, it is his honor that sets him apart and leaves an indelible mark on friend and foe alike. Now it will require all his skill to end the age of war—before Sybrik incites a conflict that cannot be won. But Sybrik has his own plan, and hunts a weapon lost by time. If he finds it he will become powerful beyond measure.

And all that lives will be his prey.
