Descent Unto Dark is now formatted and ready to upload. I'm just finishing the book description now, and it looks like I will be able to upload it later tonight. Depending on Amazon it should be live sometime tomorrow! At this point I have heard from my beta readers, and can't thank them enough for their help in polishing my book. Their comments are invaluable. As soon as the book goes live I will post it here and on facebook. The 24 hour countdown has officially begun.

I finally have a release date, and it is August 5th. I just sent Descent Unto Dark to my beta readers, and when I hear back from them I will make the final changes. It's less than two weeks away but I cannot wait. The cover is done, the book description is wrapping up, and all I have to do is finalize the book. 12 days and counting!

Descent Unto Dark Cover Reveal!!!

The release for Descent Unto Dark, book 3 in The White Mage Saga, is only a couple of weeks away. I'm so excited to reveal the cover for this book. It's a little different from my others, but it is perfect for this novel. I'm in the final stages of editing, and will be sending it to my beta readers soon. My wife has read it, and now they will. What do you call a 4 or 5 book series?

I'm annoyed. I know, it doesn't happen often, but I am. Why? Because there is no good word to describe a 4 or 5 book series. The Second Draeken War is comprised of four books, and The White Mage Saga will be five. Supposedly a four book series is called a "Quadrilogy". (What a mouthful.) I've also heard it called a quartet. A five is a quintet. Or sometimes I heard people say that they read "A series of four". Who has the time to say that? It's no wonder nobody uses them. How would you say them in conversation? "Hey, I found an awesome quintet last month." It sounds like you are dating one of four quadruplets. (I know, this isn't really something to be annoyed at, but hey, my editor has my book this week.) Now, I plan on fixing it. I've decided that the word "Qualogy" makes much better sense. So does the word "Quilogy". I've started using it in regular conversation with my author and reader friends, and they are starting to use it back to me. If anyone reads this, and likes this idea, spread the word. Oh, and pretend like it's actually a word. Words like "Selfie" are now in the actual dictionary because people used them so much. As big as the dictionary is there is not a word to describe everything. Nor is this the first time I've had this problem. Just so you know, here is the list of other words I've invented because I can't find them in the thesaurus.

Iseonix- opposite of a phoenix. A powerful frostbird. Sentenium- a period of 10,000 years. (I know, sounds legit, right?) Qualogy- a four book series Quilogy- a five book series

(this list doesn't include Lumineia specific words, except perhaps the Iseonix.)

Let's make this happen people, one word at a time. Then we can sit back and laugh when the world starts to use the terminolgy we started.

Print Books are finally completed!

I am so excited to announce that I have finally set up print versions of all of my books! They should be available in the next few days. I have also redone the cover for Seven Days and couldn't be happier. I finally have King Tryton on the cover. Any thoughts?

Descent Unto Dark Book Release!

I am happy to announce that Book 3 in The White Mage Saga will be released in early August, and the title will be Descent Unto Dark. I have been hard at work finishing this series. I am currently planning on releasing White Mage #4 in October, and White Mage #5 in December to finish it this year. (Those dates are not set in stone yet though.) I also wanted to thank the support from my readers. Lately I have gotten numerous e-mails telling me about how much you have enjoyed my books. Notes like that mean so much to me, and drive me to work ever harder. I am so excited to have so many stories to write, and cannot wait to hear what you all think about the next installment in the series. Feel free to message me with your thoughts, and I will keep you posted with an official release date as it gets closer.

New cover for Elseerian!

It's been almost two years since I published my first novel, and a lot has happened in that time. I've seen my books sell far more than I could have hoped, connected with incredible fans, and met countless amazing authors. Thank you to everyone who has expressed support, and especially those who have read my books. Leading up to the two year anniversary I have finally managed to redo the first cover. 4000 words today!!

I love it when I sit down and the writing just flows. Normally my goal is to maintain a 2,500 word average, but every once in a while I knock out a great day like today. It's nowhere near my 8,000 record, but I'm still happy with it. Like or retweet and I will count it as a digital pat on the back. I'll keep you posted on the third installment of the White Mage Saga.
